Summer Programs

BEAM Summer Programs

Our BEAM Summer Program serves minority and underrepresented students through our summer programs.

Our summer programs are designed to challenge students to use innovation and imagination when approaching projects. Students will engage in hands-on learning engineering activities across all disciplines. Students in the BEAM Summer Program also participate in weekly field trips which include, but not limited to, Engineering Firms, New York Power Authority, and Erie County Water Authority. These field trips give our students insight into various aspects of STEM fields and engineering careers. The outcomes of our BEAM Summer Program have provided internships to past BEAM graduates, Co-ops with BEAM partners, and summer employment opportunities for BEAM students and past graduates with local engineering firms that have led to full-time opportunities upon completion of college.

BEAM offers a variety of summer programs catered to various age groups from Grades 5 through 12.

The dates and locations of our BEAM Summer Programs vary by program. Please check the specific program for information.
